Special First Grade Doors at Northridge (end of the day - dismissal)
ATTENTION FIRST GRADERS AND FAMILIES:
All students will enter the building at the back of the school, at the beginning of the school day. First graders will enter through the southwest doors on the back of the school. Students who arrive after 9:15, or after the students have gone in, should go to the main doors at the front of the school, to be let into the school and check in at the office.
To prevent a school-wide crowd of students exiting the same doors at school start and dismissal times, Northridge has designated "Grade Level" doors for each grade level to exit the building after school. First grade students will use the "First Grade Doors" that are pictured below to leave the school at the end of the day. When facing the building, they are to the right of the main front doors. (The banners on the wall are no longer there.)
Thank you so much for your help and support with this new habit! :)
